MiniCellos
MiniCellos is an educational project dedicated to beginners and advanced young cellists with age between 8 and 14.
As part of the MiniCellos project, children will benefit of both individual lessons as well as chamber music lessons, they will have the opportunity to attend 2 cello lessons with different Professors: Ella Bokor – Founder of MiniCellos, Andrei Ioniță, Denis Severin, Marin Cazacu, Răzvan Suma, Attila Pasztor, Ella Bokor, Ștefan Cazacu, Mircea Marian, Octavian Lup and Ciprian Cîmpean. The 3rd and 4th lessons consist in cello ensemble rehearsals.
The MiniCellos activity, May 10th – 17th 2025 will be organised at the at the National University of Music Bucharest, the Cultural French Institut and at the Union of Armenians of Romania.
The young cellists will perform together in the final event of the Masterclass, on May 17th 2025, at George Enescu Concert Hall of the National University of Music Bucharest.
Participants will be chosen to attend the masterclass following a selection, which consists of filling in the online form and sending a video recording made in 2024 or 2025 (minimum 3 minutes long) as an unlisted YouTube link by 1st March 2025.
Results will be announced by e-mail on 15th March 2025. The organizers reserve the right to assign the students admitted for MiniCellos – Elite according to the Professors availability during the participation period.
After the results of the selection will be communicated, the admitted cellists will receive by e-mail information about the Masterclass schedule and about the payment of the registration fee. FOR ADMITTED CELLISTS ONLY, the participation fee for the Masterclass is 100 Euros or the equivalent of the amount in Ron at the BNR exchange rate.
The admitted young cellists must be accompanied by a legal guardian throughout the Masterclass.
