FutureCellEAST MASTERCLASS is an educational project dedicated to advanced young cellists with age between 15 and 30, and will take place between May 10th – 17th 2025 at the National University of Music Bucharest, the Cultural French Institut and at the Union of Armenians of Romania, having the following Cello Professors Guest: Bruno Cocset, Andrei Ioniță, Sevak Avanesyan, Denis Severin, Marin Cazacu, Răzvan Suma, Attila Pasztor, Ella Bokor, Ștefan Cazacu, Mircea Marian, Octavian Lup and Ciprian Cîmpean.

Participants will be chosen to attend the masterclass following a selection, which consists of filling in the online form and sending a video recording made in 2024 or 2025 (minimum 4 minutes long) as an unlisted YouTube link by 1st March 2025, time 00:00.

Results will be announced by e-mail on 15th March 2025. The organizers reserve the right to assign the students admitted for FutureCellEAST according to the Professors availability during the participation period.

After the results of the selection are communicated, the admitted cellists will receive by e-mail information about the Masterclass schedule and about the payment of the registration fee. FOR ADMITTED CELLISTS ONLY, the participation fee for the Masterclass is 150 Euros or the equivalent of the amount in Ron at the BNR exchange rate.

Each admitted cellist will benefit from 3 lessons with different professors, will have the opportunity to passively participate in all the lessons and seminars of the masterclass and will have free entrance to many events during CellEAST Festival 2025. The 4th and 5th lessons consist in cello ensemble rehearsals.

The final FutureCellEAST concert will take place on May 17th 2025, at George Enescu Concert Hall of the National University of Music Bucharest.
