… is a cellist with a varied and rich artistic activity, being the member of the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra, cello and chamber music Professor at the National University of Music Bucharest and Dinu Lipatti National College of Art, member of the PlaCello Ensemble, Duo Cello Jaya, Larson Trio, Violoncellissimo and the Profile Quartet.

He has performed as a soloist with several orchestras from Romania and abroad including Philharmonisches Orchester Altenburg Gera, Romanian National Radio Orchestra, Radio Chamber Orchestra and University Orchestra from Graz-Austria.

Mircea has participated in various festivals and educational programs such as George Enescu International Festival, ICon Arts, SoNoRo International Festival, SoNoRo Interferences, Meridian Festival, IS Potsdamer Innenstadt Festival, Simn Festival, Intrada International Festival, Mozartissimo Festival, European Music Open Festival.

He also made CDs and special recordings for Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company, both as a soloist and as part of the Duo Cello Jaya and the PlaCello Ensemble.
