Mihail Jojatu

…is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where together with his cello colleagues founded the Boston Cello Quartet. He is a cello Professor at the Boston University, Tanglewood Music Center and Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

His most notable collaborations as a soloist include concerts with the National Radio Orchestra, New Bedford Symphony, Berkshire Symphony, Longwood Symphony, Boston Pops Orchestra and Indian Hill Orchestra.

Mihail Jojatu collaborates with prestigious artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Yefim Bronfman, Paul Lewis, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Lars Vogt, Sarah Chang, Glenn Dicterow, Peter Serkin, Gil Shaham, Cristian Măcelaru, Julliard Quartet and Muir Quartet.

He was teaching Masterclasses in North America, Japan and Europe, and each year is a guest Lecturer at the New World Symphony in Miami Florida.
