Ani Marie Paladi
… is a Cello teacher at the Iosif Sava School of Arts in Bucharest, institution within which she has acted as Executive Director from 2003 to 2017 and initiated artistic projects, concerts and festivals. Simultaneously, she is an associate Professor at the two Colleges of Arts in Bucharest.
She has dedicated herself entirely to her teaching career and her students obtained great results in prestigious competitions such as David Popper – Hungary, Antonio Janigro – Croatia, J.J.F. Dotzauer – Germany, Jan Vychtil – Prague, Odin Competition – Estonia, National Music Olympiads and national competitions.
Ani has guided generations of cellists who have later studied at prestigious music institutions such as Yehudi Menuhin School London, Guildhall School of Music – London, UDK – Berlin, Hochschule Detmold and Hochschule für Musik Hannover.
In 2015, when her former student Andrei Ioniță was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia, Ms. Paladi received the Mentor Award for her teaching career, offered by the Foundation for Community – Mol Romania.
