Soloist in Residence at Sibiu State Philharmonic, member of the PlaCello Ensemble, Violoncellissimo Ensemble and Duo Serafim, Principal Cellist of the Romanian Youth Orchestra and the Romanian National Symphony Orchestra, Associated Cello Professor at the National University of Music Bucharest and Cello Professor at Dinu Lipatti National College of Art.

Ștefan have a complex education achieved in his early life in a family of famous musicians. He has studies at the National Music University of Bucharest with Professor Răzvan Suma and at M.D.W. Vienna with Professor Reinhard Latzko.

Ștefan is laureate of many competition: 1st Prize at the International Competition in Liezen – Austria, 3rd Prize at the George Enescu International Competition and Grand Prize of the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition – National Stage.

He had performed recitals in Romania, Netherlands, Israel, Austria, Hungary, Germany. As Soloist he collaborated with all Symphony Orchestras in Romania, also Chișinău Philharmonic in Moldavia and Alicante Spain Youth Orchestra.
