Founder of the MiniCellos project, associate Professor at the Department of Chamber Music at the National Music University Bucharest, Founder and Principal Organizer of CellEAST Festival, President of the PlaCello Cultural Association, Artistic coordinator at the Romanian Youth National Art Center and Cello Professor at Dinu Lipatti National College of Arts.
She is Member of Honour and Ambassador of the Association Sebastian Lee Conservation du patrimoine musical en danger d’oubli, Founder of PlaCello Ensemble, Duo Cello Jaya and Ludens Piano Trio, also member of Violoncellissimo Ensemble and the National Symphony Orchestra of Romania.
Among the most important cultural and educational programmes and festivals Ella was invited to the following: SoNoRo, ICon Arts, SoNoRo Conac, Isa16 – International Summer Academy, Villa Musica, Plovdivn Chamber Music International Festival, George Enescu International Festival, Thessaloniki Music Festival, Meridian Festival, SIMN, Cello Fundamento Vietnam, ConnectArts and SoNoRo Interferenţe.
With her extensive experience, talent and passion for music, Ella Bokor is a remarkable cellist and an inspiring Professor which achieve significant contributions in the world of cello and classical music.
Ella Bokor will perform within the CellEAST Festival on May 8th, 12th and 14th 2024.
