Cello Professor at the Geneva-Neuchâtel University of Music and at the Bern University of Arts. He is laureate of several international competitions, such as the International Classical Music Awards 2018, the Echo Klassik Prize 2015 and Grammy Awards 2007.

Denis is a frequent guest artist at classical music festivals, jury member of several music competitions, Artistic Director of ArtCello Festival and Schlosskonzerte Beuggen (Germany) and President of Association Art Without Borders.

Performs as a soloist with: European Youth Symphony Orchestra (EU), Basel Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (Switzerland), Feel Harmony Chamber Orchestra Poznan (Poland), State Symphony Orchestra, Kiew Chamber Orchestra (Ukraine), St. Petersburg State Capella Orchestra, Archangel State Chamber Orchestra (Russia) and Armenian State Chamber Orchestra.

He graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and continued his education at the Geneva University of Music, Music Academy of Basel, École Normale de Musique de Paris and Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
